Role & Responsibilities
- Drive the sustainability agenda with raw material and manufacturing suppliers, focusing on reducing environmental footprints in the leather goods and shoes business units.
- Contribute to and engage with suppliers on sustainability strategy, refining objectives and monitoring implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Production, Ateliers, Finance, and Procurement to achieve sustainability objectives.
- Implement and manage traceability systems for leather, metals, and precious skins, emphasizing recycled content.
- Manage sustainability performance KPIs, particularly related to vendor rating procedures.
- Support the implementation of programs related to metal-free leather, regenerative leather, sustainable sourcing guidelines, and green energy, in alignment with Kering standards.
- Ensure material sourcing compliance with Kering Standards through verification and alignment.
- Contribute to the deployment of the living wage strategy.
- Promote and implement circular approaches within the brand, utilizing existing flows such as leftovers, unsold, or damaged products.
- Monitor the incorporation of sustainability features and materials in collection files, collaborating closely with product development and merchandising teams.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree from a business school or engineering program.
- Over 5 years of experience in supply chain management and sustainability.
- Expertise in key supplier activities such as metal hardware, leather tanning, textile processing, and leather goods and shoes manufacturing.
