Role & Responsibilities
- Develop strong and trusted partnerships with internal business clients, providing coaching and advice on people-related matters and strategies.
- Manage all employee-related issues within the scope of the Southern European region.
- Define and lead the recruitment strategy to hire top talent aligned with Saint Laurent’s culture and business needs.
- Foster a comprehensive understanding of the external market by active networking and talent pool development.
- Coach management on handling high and low performers, identifying skill gaps, and creating development plans.
- Identify key contributors to the business and advise on retention strategies, leading talent review discussions.
- Oversee budget and forecasting processes for markets, ensuring cost controls and productivity levels are maintained.
- Implement global HR initiatives at the market level, adapting them to local needs.
- Ensure compensation and benefits align with market standards to support attraction and retention objectives.
- Monitor compliance with local and international labor laws, implementing measures to address labor-related issues.
- Ensure quality execution of HR operational activities, including payroll, employee relations, and legal compliance.
- Implement a holistic engagement plan to align HR initiatives with business priorities and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering an inclusive culture.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the luxury or fashion retail industry.
- Degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge of HR and employment legislation, particularly Italian labor law; knowledge of Spanish legislation is desirable.
