Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global qualitative and quantitative purchasing strategy for footwear collections.
- Participate in pre-purchase activities in collaboration with Collection Merchandising and E-commerce teams.
- Define master orders by product line and present to regional buyers.
- Support markets in purchasing strategy, challenging investments and KPIs by region, and identifying re-order opportunities.
- Ensure worldwide purchasing coherence according to market specifications, assortment, and financial landing versus OTB.
- Harmonize and adjust purchases with Wholesale and E-commerce.
- Consolidate and present strategic purchasing vision to top management.
- Collaborate with Retail Merchandising Manager to implement sell-through strategies.
- Coordinate with Collection Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, Communication, and Retail to optimize product launches.
- Support sell-through target setting and anticipate sales structure by collection and product line.
- Conduct biannual competitive analysis of product positioning and recommend adjustments.
- Consolidate market needs and propose worldwide solutions with Collection Merchandising and Pricing teams.
- Gather quantitative and qualitative feedback by collection and product line to enhance performance.
- Analyze sales and stock data, and propose action plans.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a similar role (Merchandising, Purchasing).
- Strong knowledge of the leather goods market and product sensitivity.
- Fluency in French and English.

Education
Commercial education background.
