Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global buying strategy for footwear collections, ensuring alignment with brand image and commercial objectives.
- Participate in pre-buying processes in collaboration with Collection Merchandising and E-commerce teams.
- Define master orders by product line and present them to regional buyers.
- Support markets with purchasing strategies, challenging investments and KPIs by region, and identifying re-order opportunities and sales support actions.
- Ensure worldwide purchasing coherence according to market specifics, including assortment and financial alignment with OTB.
- Coordinate with Wholesale and E-commerce to harmonize and adjust purchases.
- Consolidate and present strategic purchasing vision to top management.
- Collaborate on collection performance strategies with Retail Merchandising teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to harmonize and maximize product launches.
- Support the determination of sell-through objectives and anticipate sales structures by collection and product line.
- Conduct bi-annual competitive pricing analysis and propose adjustments for seasonal and permanent lines.
- Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback to enhance performance.
- Conduct weekly and end-of-season sales and stock analyses, proposing action plans.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a similar role (Merchandising, Buying, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of the leather goods market and product sensitivity.
- Fluency in French and English.
Skills
Experience
Significant experience in merchandising or buying roles within the luxury fashion industry is required.
Education
Commercial education background.
