Role & Responsibilities

  • Own commercial performance and visual coherence of the women's leather goods assortment across digital channels (brand website, concessions and marketplaces).
  • Monitor sales performance and optimise stock cover and allocation to maximise sell‑through across the digital network.
  • Propose targeted commercial actions and assortment adjustments to meet growth and sell‑through objectives.
  • Communicate weekly replenishment requirements to Supply Chain and coordinate allocation of seasonal product.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of the product offer to define the assortment for each door.
  • Prepare and participate in four annual buying sessions: analysis, collection purchases, concessions reviews and buying debriefs for Top Management.
  • Coordinate collection launches and merchandising entries on YSL.COM with Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, E‑Business, Merchandising Planning, Retail Merchandising, Collection Merchandising and external partners to align assortment, planning and product feedback.

Qualifications

  • Degree from a business school or equivalent higher education in commerce/management.
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in Retail Merchandising, Buying/Purchasing or Digital Merchandising.
  • Fluent English (explicit requirement).
  • Strong analytical aptitude with an ability to translate data into actionable commercial decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of the leather goods market and strong product sensibility.
  • Highly organised, rigorous, proactive and able to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.

Experience

Minimum five years' relevant experience in retail merchandising, buying/purchasing or digital merchandising, preferably with exposure to leather goods and e‑commerce environments.

Education

Business school degree or equivalent qualification in commerce, merchandising, or a related discipline.
