Saint Laurent in Paris seeks a Retail Buying Intern to support the Buying Manager in Europe. Ideal for Master's students with analytical skills and fluency in English and French.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Buying Manager in managing collections for the European boutique network.
  • Support in performance tracking and assortment optimization.
  • Collaborate on business and network development initiatives.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly sales reports and analyses by product category, collection, and boutique.
  • Manage stock, transfers, and replenishments, and handle boutique requests.
  • Communicate with European boutiques to track performance and support retail actions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and support various operational tasks.
  • Prepare pre-showroom analyses and create purchasing tools.
  • Assist in drafting purchase debriefs and developing boutique materials such as product catalogs and training aids.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree from a business school or equivalent.
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Product sensitivity.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in luxury retail is advantageous.
