Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze MRP and manage purchase orders for raw materials.
- Monitor order progress by liaising daily with internal and external production entities and manage related reporting.
- Revise orders based on new production requests, collaborating with departments such as Planning, Production Advancement, and Product Development.
- Compile and update key reports related to Purchasing Office activities, including testing and laboratory reports.
- Manage the raw material supplier portfolio, seeking and fostering collaboration with new suppliers.
- Negotiate raw material prices with suppliers to secure optimal purchasing opportunities.
- Evaluate suppliers' production, economic, and quality capabilities based on KPI indicators.
- Plan regular meetings with quality control entities to monitor potential issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Degree in Economics, Statistics, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in English, with French being an advantage.
