Role & Responsibilities
- Drive the Women's Leather Goods business to achieve sales, sell-through, and inventory targets in China.
- Collaborate with the General Merchandising Manager, Store Directors, and Central Merchandising team to strategize product development, launch, assortment, distribution, and pricing.
- Monitor business performance to meet sell-through and financial objectives.
- Execute a comprehensive strategy for Women's Leather Goods to maximize business while maintaining brand integrity.
- Lead buying sessions to ensure optimal merchandise selection and quantities.
- Plan and execute seasonal product launches, including trunk shows and pre-order events.
- Partner with the training team to deliver product training and sales strategies to the store network.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on collection launches and store remerchandising.
- Manage product life cycle, including assortment planning, line development, and merchandise selection.
- Oversee inventory management, delivery, and stock replenishment.
- Analyze sales performance and provide feedback on inventory and merchandise issues.
- Conduct competitive analysis and maintain knowledge of market trends and customer profiles.
- Communicate market needs and product feedback to global merchants.
- Collaborate with the retail team to support in-store activities and enhance customer loyalty.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Retail, E-Commerce, Business Planning, and Communications.
- Travel internationally to Paris and within Mainland China.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 6 years in a fashion merchandising or buying role with international luxury brands, particularly within the China market.
