Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct repair and finishing of leather goods, including handbags and small leather items, in accordance with company standards.
  • Produce necessary components for product repair following received instructions.
  • Perform product repairs within specified timeframes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal department colleagues to ensure accurate information flow for component production and repairs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in bench assembly and/or hand or machine sewing of leather goods within a luxury handbag prototyping environment.
  • Proficient in reading patterns and understanding technical components.
  • Good knowledge of leather characteristics, processing, and leather products.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Precision and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork skills and availability.

Experience

At least 10 years of experience in leather goods assembly and repair, particularly within a luxury prototyping environment.
