Inventory Control Assistant (Intern)
Saint Laurent in Paris seeks an Inventory Control Assistant (Intern) to manage boutique stock administration, reconciliation and reporting across EMEA.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain boutique inventory records across the EMEA network, ensuring accuracy of stock positions and adjustments.
- Monitor and control logistics shipments between boutiques, acting as a transversal contact with Kering, YSL Worldwide Supply Chain, Distribution teams and regional boutiques.
- Validate stock adjustments arising from returns, uniform issues and cycle counts; reconcile inventory movements against financial records.
- Prepare monthly reports for local financial controllers and auditors, including reconciliation of stock movements and Supply Chain flows versus recorded adjustments.
- Control and certify daily sales data for management control teams and submit weekly certified sales reports (including YSL India scope).
- Support the update of procedures following the ERP migration and research opportunities for process automation and optimisation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Business, Management or Finance (business school or university level).
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Rigorous, highly organised and analytically minded.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
Skills
Experience
Student-level internship: enrolment in a Master's programme is required. Prior internships or experience in inventory control, retail operations, supply chain or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Master's level candidate in Business, Management, Finance or equivalent (in progress).
