Role & Responsibilities
- Identify necessary alterations and repairs on client garments and communicate conditions to clients.
- Pin garments and verify dimensions and symmetry during fittings.
- Recommend alterations to clients.
- Provide technical advice to sales staff and follow up on sales.
- Draft alteration sheets.
- Determine garment delivery timelines.
- Organize internal or external completion of alterations.
- Disassemble and assemble garments for alterations.
- Order supplies and raw materials.
- Press garments.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in garment alterations.
- Experience as a tailor is highly desirable.
