Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with FP&A and Shared Services to set and analyze sales and category targets on a yearly, half-yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of actual versus budget progression, market trends, and cost control through multiple simulations.
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports by store and category, as well as wholesale reports.
  • Manage operating expenses, balance sheets, and budget capex, ensuring accurate cost center and account management.
  • Lead accounting procedures in collaboration with SSC, ensuring compliance with Kering Accounting Manual and timely financial data closure.
  • Prepare and report expenses to HQ post-monthly closure, addressing micro inquiries.
  • Oversee external and internal audits, inventory control, and stock-taking processes.
  • Support compliance and legal issues, and lead projects related to store network expansion, including openings, refurbishments, and relocations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an international environment.
  • Native proficiency in Japanese and business proficiency in English.

Skills

Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in figures. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Formula), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with accounting systems such as JDE, Hyperion, and Concur is preferable. Excellent communication skills.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in a comparable financial role within an international setting is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
