Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with FP&A and Shared Services to set and analyze sales and category targets on a yearly, half-yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of actual versus budget progression, including market trend forecasting and cost control.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including daily retail sales versus targets and year-to-date comparisons by store and category.
  • Manage operating expenses and balance sheets, ensuring accurate cost center and account oversight.
  • Lead budget capex and depreciation analysis, focusing on store profit and loss.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and prepare financial vouchers for local and intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee monthly and year-to-date financial data closure in accordance with the Kering Accounting Manual.
  • Facilitate expense reporting and address inquiries from headquarters.
  • Support external and internal audits as needed.
  • Oversee inventory control and conduct bi-annual stock taking.
  • Assist with compliance and legal issues.
  • Contribute to the strategic expansion of the store network, including openings, refurbishments, and relocations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an international environment
  • Native proficiency in Japanese
  • Business proficiency in English

Skills

Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial data Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with accounting systems such as JDE, Hyperion, and Concur Excellent communication skills

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in a similar finance role within an international setting is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
