Overview
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first fashion house to introduce the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with the launch of the 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, symbolizing youth and freedom. This pivotal move modernized the fashion industry and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury division of Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent, and under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, it continues to maintain its esteemed position in the luxury sector. Today, Saint Laurent's collections encompass women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
