Saint Laurent in London (Harrods) seeks a Department Manager to lead a luxury retail team, drive KPIs and cultivate Top Client relationships.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the department to achieve quantitative sales targets and qualitative brand standards, reporting to the Store Director.
  • Drive KPI performance through regular analysis of department results and implementation of action plans in coordination with HQ and store leadership.
  • Supervise and coach the sales team, delivering briefings, one-to-ones and individual development plans to elevate product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Ensure exceptional client service at all times, personally managing delicate product- or client-related situations and cultivating loyalty among Top Clients and VICs.
  • Maintain compliance with Company Policies and Operational Procedures and act as a visible brand ambassador across store activities.
  • Develop local and international client networks and participate in innovative projects to strengthen the department’s commercial positioning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–4 years’ significant experience in luxury goods sales or high-end retail.
  • Demonstrated management experience with ability to deliver results via coaching, feedback and team development.
  • Extensive product sensitivity and category-specific product knowledge.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience monitoring and improving KPI performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, client-orientation and a service-driven mindset.

Experience

At least 3–4 years of significant experience selling luxury goods or working in high-end retail, with proven supervisory or managerial responsibility and a record of achieving sales targets through team development.

Education

Secondary education completed; higher education in business, retail management, fashion or a related discipline preferred.
