Collection Development Intern

Overview

Saint Laurent, a distinguished name in luxury fashion, is part of the prestigious Kering Group. Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent pioneered the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with the launch of the 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, symbolizing youth and freedom. Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016, the brand continues to lead in the luxury sector, offering a wide range of products including women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.

Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development with various departments including Studio, pattern makers, workshops, and external manufacturers.
• Update the PLM tool daily with launch/reception dates, fabric stock, and sample/bill of materials creation.
• Manage the organizational aspects of the collection from prototyping to sampling.
• Oversee the delivery of pieces and follow up on prototypes and collection repetitions.
• Liaise with manufacturers to ensure timely production.
• Assist in the preparation of fittings.
• Create reference labels for models.
• Receive and inspect pieces upon delivery.
• Manage special orders for Press, VIP, VIC, and trunk shows.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the luxury or fashion sector is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
