Overview
Van Cleef & Arpels is a Parisian haute joaillerie maison recognised for exceptional craftsmanship, poetic design and meticulous attention to detail. As part of the Richemont group, the brand combines artisanal ateliers and global boutiques to present luxury jewellery, watches and objets d'art to a discerning international clientele.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandising team in conception, planning and execution of window and in-boutique displays aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
- Assist with set construction, prop sourcing, model making and production follow‑up; prepare materials and supervise installations in boutiques.
- Maintain visual merchandising calendars and documentation, update display plans and photo libraries, and ensure consistency across store network.
- Coordinate with store teams, supply chain and external workshops to schedule installations, returns and storage of visual assets.
- Contribute to creative research, trend scouting and moodboard/cad presentation preparation; assist during photoshoots and events when required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in visual merchandising, retail design, scenography, interior design, product design or fine arts.
- Strong portfolio or visual dossier demonstrating sketching, model-making and display projects (academic or professional).
- Excellent visual sensibility with a solid understanding of luxury retail codes, proportions, lighting and materials.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines; comfortable working on-site in boutiques and workshops.
- Basic technical skills in studio tools and an aptitude for physical construction; interest in jewellery and luxury retail desirable.
Skills
Experience
Prior internships or practical experience in retail visual merchandising, set design or a related creative environment is advantageous but not mandatory; academic projects demonstrating relevant skills are acceptable.
Education
Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree or vocational programme in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, Scenography, Interior/Product Design, or Fine Arts.
