Visual Merchandising Assistant Intern
Van Cleef & Arpels in Singapore seeks a Visual Merchandising Assistant Intern (Jul–Jan) to support window and in‑store displays, moodboards and installations.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Visual Merchandising team in the conception, preparation and installation of in‑store and window displays consistent with brand guidelines.
- Prepare moodboards, layout sketches and planograms to communicate creative direction and technical specifications.
- Assist with sourcing, construction and dressing of props and display elements; oversee staging and on‑site set adjustments.
- Document installations through photography and maintain an archive of visual assets and setup instructions.
- Coordinate logistics and timing with boutique teams, store managers and external suppliers to ensure flawless execution.
- Maintain VM stock, props inventory and back‑of‑house organization to support rapid visual turnarounds.
- Provide operational support during event activations, product launches and seasonal transitions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Interior Design, Set Design or a related discipline.
- Strong visual sensibility with a polished aesthetic judgement and attention to detail.
- Portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience in display, styling or set design.
- Availability for the full internship period (July–January) and flexibility to work occasional extended hours for installations.
- Ability to lift and handle display materials and to work safely at heights when required.
Skills
Experience
Practical experience through prior internships, retail visual projects, academic showrooms or freelance display work is preferred; exposure to luxury retail or jewelry environments is a plus.
Education
Pursuing or recently completed tertiary qualification in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Interior Design, Set Design or equivalent.
