Senior Manager, Learning & Development
Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sr. Manager, Learning & Development in New York to lead L&D strategy for boutique and corporate teams.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the North America learning & development strategy aligned with brand priorities, commercial objectives and talent roadmaps.
- Design, deliver and oversee blended learning curricula — including product, sales, leadership and service excellence programs — for boutique and corporate populations.
- Lead, mentor and develop a small L&D team and external vendor partners to ensure pedagogical quality, scalability and on-brand learner experiences.
- Manage the Learning Management System and digital learning ecosystem, including content curation, administration, reporting and user adoption.
- Partner with HR business partners, retail leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to conduct needs analysis, succession planning and talent interventions.
- Establish metrics and evaluation frameworks (learning impact, competency gains, business KPIs) and report outcomes to senior leadership.
- Own program budgets, vendor contracts and project plans to ensure timely delivery and ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Business or related field; master’s degree or advanced certificate preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in learning & development with responsibility for program design and team management at a regional or national level.
- Demonstrated experience designing blended learning for frontline retail and corporate audiences; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative partnering skills with senior leaders across commercial and HR functions.
- Experience with LMS administration, vendor management and learning analytics; ability to translate learning outcomes into business impact.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPLP, ATD) or formal instructional design credentials are advantageous.

Experience
Minimum of 7 years in learning & development, talent development or organizational development roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity; prior experience supporting retail or luxury client‑facing teams is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Business or related field; master’s degree or professional L&D certification preferred.
