Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Associate in Scottsdale, AZ to deliver luxury client service, drive boutique sales and cultivate client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised service to high‑net‑worth and discerning clients, cultivating long‑term relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and cross‑selling across collections.
  • Manage the full client journey: prospecting, clienteling, appointment management and after‑sales follow‑up with discretion.
  • Ensure impeccable visual merchandising and product presentation in accordance with brand standards.
  • Process high‑value transactions accurately, maintain inventory integrity and follow cash handling and loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Maintain and update CRM/clienteling tools with detailed client notes and purchase histories.
  • Coordinate with boutique management and internal teams for special requests, repairs and private client events.
  • Participate in product, service and compliance training to maintain product knowledge and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Polished professional presentation and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to sell luxury goods with an emphasis on consultative, relationship‑driven selling.
  • Discretion and the ability to manage confidential client information.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail for handling transactions and inventory.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of retail experience in luxury goods, jewellery or watchmaking boutiques; demonstrable success building client relationships and meeting sales targets preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in hospitality, retail or business is advantageous but not required.
