Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Associate in Nagoya to deliver bespoke client service in a luxury boutique setting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized service to high-net-worth and discerning clients, building long-term relationships through thoughtful clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets while contributing to team KPIs and conversion metrics.
- Demonstrate exhaustive product knowledge of high jewellery, watches and maison heritage to advise clients and facilitate informed purchases.
- Manage daily boutique operations including visual merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory control and secure handling of high-value items.
- Process sales transactions accurately and compliantly, including luxury POS handling, gift-wrapping and after-sales procedures.
- Coordinate private appointments, trunk shows and client events in collaboration with the store manager and regional teams.
- Maintain strict adherence to brand security, loss-prevention and client confidentiality procedures.
- Support onboarding and training of junior colleagues, sharing product knowledge and clienteling best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing experience, preferably 1–3 years in luxury retail, jewellery or watches.
- Strong commercial orientation with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour aligned with luxury brand standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with high-value clients.
- Availability to work boutique hours including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
- Legal authorization to work in Japan.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of direct sales experience in luxury retail, jewellery or comparable high-value product environments, with evidence of meeting sales targets and managing discerning clients.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or tertiary study in retail, hospitality or a related field is advantageous.
