Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Associate in Kuala Lumpur to deliver personalised service and drive high-jewellery sales in a luxury boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised service to high-net-worth and discerning clients, cultivating long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to boutique performance metrics and visual merchandising standards.
  • Present the maison’s collections with authoritative product knowledge, advising on provenance, craftsmanship and care of high jewellery pieces.
  • Manage clienteling activities including follow-ups, private appointments, reservations and accurate VIP client records.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and ensure meticulous administration of sales documentation and stock movements.
  • Contribute to boutique visual standards, window displays and store presentation in line with brand directives.
  • Collaborate with the team on events, trunk shows and private viewings to maximise client penetration and brand exposure.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, security procedures and compliance with internal policies for high-value goods.

Qualifications

  • Proven aptitude for luxury retail sales with an ability to interact credibly with affluent clientele.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a client-first orientation.
  • Strong organisational ability with attention to detail in stock handling and sales administration.
  • Commercial mindset with capability to meet sales targets and contribute to cash-and-stock controls.
  • Discretion, professionalism and the ability to represent a heritage jewellery maison.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years in luxury retail or high-jewellery sales, with demonstrated success in client acquisition, repeat business and meeting sales objectives. Boutique or maison experience preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary studies in fashion, hospitality, retail or business preferred but not mandatory.
