Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Associate in Hong Kong to deliver high‑touch client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized, high‑touch client service and cultivate long‑term relationships with VIP and prospective clients through proactive clienteling.
  • Present and demonstrate high jewellery, watches and accessories with consummate product knowledge and attention to provenance, materials and techniques.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, upselling and cross‑selling.
  • Manage boutique operational duties including stock handling, inventory reconciliation, point‑of‑sale transactions and accurate record keeping.
  • Execute merchandising and visual standards to uphold the maison’s presentation guidelines and ensure product integrity.
  • Coordinate and support private appointments, trunk shows and client events in collaboration with boutique management and CRM teams.
  • Provide after‑sales service and follow‑up, including care advice, repairs coordination and client feedback management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, loss‑prevention procedures and brand confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail or high‑jewellery sales; demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport and nurturing high‑net‑worth client relationships.
  • Fluent English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage for the Hong Kong market.
  • Impeccable presentation, professionalism and discretion appropriate to a luxury maison.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and retail peak periods; willingness to travel locally for client appointments when required.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of direct experience in luxury retail or high‑jewellery sales, with demonstrable commercial results and experience handling VIP clientele.
