Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary client service during in‑boutique interactions and private appointments, fostering long‑term relationships through attentive clienteling.
- Support the sales process from welcoming clients to closing transactions, including POS operations and accurate cash handling.
- Maintain and execute merchandising and display standards to reflect Van Cleef & Arpels brand aesthetics and seasonal directives.
- Manage stock operations: receive goods, conduct inventory checks, control stockroom organisation and support replenishment.
- Assist with CRM upkeep and appointment coordination, ensuring client records and follow‑up communications are accurate and timely.
- Contribute to boutique events, product launches and private viewings, supporting logistics and guest service.
- Participate in formal and on‑the‑job training to deepen product knowledge, technical vocabulary and the maison’s heritage.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an alternance/apprenticeship programme or vocational diploma in commerce, retail, luxury management or equivalent (BTS, Bachelor).
- Authentic passion for luxury jewellery and refined aesthetic sensibility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, tact and discretion when dealing with high‑value clientele.
- Professional presentation, reliability and strong organisational aptitude.
- Flexible availability including weekends and occasional extended hours to cover boutique needs.
- Basic numeracy for transaction handling and familiarity with boutique operational routines.
- Fluent French; professional working proficiency in English is advantageous.
Skills
Experience
Previous customer‑facing retail or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; internships, seasonal retail roles or boutique placements will be considered.
Education
Currently enrolled in an alternance/apprenticeship programme or vocational diploma (BTS/Bachelor) in commerce, retail, luxury management, marketing or a related discipline.
