Retail Performance Planning Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and manage short‑ and medium‑term retail sales and inventory plans for the region, translating corporate goals into store-level targets.
- Develop demand forecasts, weekly/monthly sales plans and replenishment strategies to optimize sell‑through and minimize markdowns.
- Design, monitor and report on retail KPIs; produce regular performance dashboards and ad hoc deep dives for leadership.
- Partner with Merchandising, Inventory/Logistics, Finance and Store Operations to align assortment, allocation and promotional execution.
- Lead business reviews with regional store managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
- Model scenario analyses for new openings, concept tests and seasonal assortments; quantify P&L impact of commercial levers.
- Drive process improvements in planning workflows, data quality and reporting cadence; support rollout of planning tools and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent; a master’s degree or specialized retail qualification is preferred.
- Proven analytical capability with strong numeracy and commercial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of influencing cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in retail planning, sales planning or merchandising within luxury goods or premium retail. Prior exposure to international store networks and close collaboration with merchandising and finance teams is expected.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or a related discipline; a master’s degree or specialized retail certification is an advantage.
