Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the packaging product development (CDP) team across the full lifecycle of packaging projects, from brief to production.
  • Prepare and maintain technical packaging files: dielines, artwork specifications, material datasheets and bill of materials (BOM).
  • Coordinate prototype and sample production, track sample logistics and follow up on corrective iterations with suppliers and ateliers.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (design, quality, supply chain, merchandising) to ensure packaging aligns with product launches and brand standards.
  • Monitor supplier timelines, request quotes, and assist with cost tracking and basic supplier performance reporting.
  • Assist with quality control checks on incoming samples and production runs to validate compliance with technical and aesthetic specifications.
  • Create presentations, status reports and documentation required for project meetings and approval gates.
  • Ensure documentation is archived and version-controlled according to the team's processes.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Materials Science, Product Development, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable interest in luxury packaging, materials and craftsmanship; prior coursework or projects in packaging preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and high standards for finish and aesthetics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate with suppliers and multiple internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to produce clear technical artwork and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced product development environment.
  • Professional attitude, discretion and respect for brand confidentiality.

Experience

Previous internship or project experience in packaging, product development, or within the luxury goods sector is preferred; familiarity with prototype cycles and supplier follow-up is advantageous.

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Materials Science, Product Development, Engineering, or related field.
