Methods & Technical Data Engineer
Van Cleef & Arpels — Paris: Methods & Technical Data Engineer (contract). Lead technical data, methods and industrialization for haute joaillerie.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define, document and maintain technical data (product specifications, manufacturing methods, bills of materials) for jewelry and small objects.
- Develop and standardize industrial methods and work instructions to ensure repeatable, high‑precision production.
- Maintain and enrich PLM/PDM records, ensuring data integrity across design, prototyping and production teams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional validation with design, prototyping, quality and production to industrialize new models.
- Analyze production flows and implement continuous improvement actions to reduce nonconformities and optimize lead times.
- Prepare and update routings, tooling lists, and process validation trials; manage change control for technical documentation.
- Train and support manufacturing teams and ateliers on updated methods and technical dossiers.
- Participate in supplier and subcontractor qualification related to process capabilities and technical data compliance.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or engineering diploma in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience in methods engineering, technical data management or industrialization—preferably in luxury goods, jewelry, watchmaking or high‑precision manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing bills of materials (BOM), routings and technical dossiers through PLM/PDM systems.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with process optimization and root‑cause analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Experience
At least three years in methods engineering, product industrialization or technical data management, ideally within luxury jewelry, watchmaking, or another high‑precision manufacturing environment.
Education
Master's degree or engineering diploma (industrial, mechanical, materials or equivalent).
