Van Cleef & Arpels is hiring a Marketing Manager (12‑month fixed term) in Sydney to lead local brand campaigns, retail activations and VIP events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver the local marketing plan aligned with global brand strategy and commercial objectives for the Australian market.
  • Plan, manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, CRM and in‑store activations to drive brand equity and footfall.
  • Coordinate with regional and global brand teams to adapt creative assets, ensure brand consistency and implement campaign roll‑out schedules.
  • Manage external partners and agencies (creative, digital, PR, events), including briefs, budgets, timelines and performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with retail operations and boutique teams to develop clienteling initiatives, visual merchandising support and staff training for campaign launches and events.
  • Oversee local PR and event programmes, including product launches, trunk shows and VIP client events, ensuring high‑touch execution and post‑event reporting.
  • Monitor campaign performance and retail KPIs, produce regular reporting and insights, and recommend optimisation measures to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the local marketing budget and ensure cost control while maximising ROI on activations and media spend.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent proven experience).
  • Minimum five years of marketing experience, with at least some background in luxury goods, high‑end retail or premium services.
  • Proven experience managing integrated campaigns, PR and events in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage agencies, budgets and cross‑functional stakeholders in fast‑paced luxury settings.

Experience

At least five years' professional experience in marketing, preferably within luxury goods, premium retail or a high‑end service environment. Track record of delivering multi‑channel campaigns, managing agencies and executing client‑facing events.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications in marketing or luxury brand management are advantageous but not mandatory.
