Overview
Van Cleef & Arpels is an illustrious French haute-joaillerie and watchmaking Maison renowned for artisanal craftsmanship, poetic design motifs and discreet luxury service. The house is part of the Richemont group and maintains an exacting standard of client experience across its global salons, combining heritage savoir‑faire with contemporary hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and receive clients and VIP guests with polished, anticipatory hospitality and manage boutique flow to ensure an elevated visitor experience.
- Coordinate appointments, private viewings and in‑store consultations; manage salon seating and ensure timing runs to high standards.
- Provide bespoke concierge services including preparation of the presentation environment, coordination with sales advisors and follow‑up communications.
- Maintain accurate client records and appointment notes in the CRM; track guest preferences and ensure seamless handover to the sales team.
- Support boutique events and private appointments — including logistics, guest lists and on‑site coordination — to uphold Maison protocols.
- Ensure the salon environment is immaculate and presentation standards are consistently met, including merchandising refreshes and display maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven hospitality or luxury retail experience; experience within high jewelry, watches or five‑star hospitality strongly preferred.
- Impeccable grooming, polished manner and demonstrated ability to interact confidently with high‑net‑worth clientele.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; able to work variable shifts for client appointments and events.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of front‑of‑house experience in luxury retail, boutique hospitality or a high‑end concierge role; demonstrable exposure to servicing VIP clientele is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality or retail-related training preferred but not required.
