Logistics Coordinator

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound flows at Les Ateliers de Lyon, ensuring accurate reception, inspection and recording of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, cycle counting and reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate material supply to production lines and ateliers, prioritizing deadlines and ensuring traceability of components.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers and internal stakeholders (production, quality, purchasing) to schedule shipments and resolve logistic issues.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with customs, transport and internal quality procedures.
- Implement and monitor warehouse organisation, storage standards and security procedures to protect high-value items.
- Propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise stock levels, reduce lead times and improve handling processes.
- Maintain accurate records and KPIs, produce regular reports on stock, movements and logistics performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bac+2 (or equivalent vocational diploma) in logistics, supply chain or industrial organisation, or proven equivalent experience.
- Professional experience (typically 2–4 years) in warehouse/logistics roles; experience within luxury goods, jewelry or watchmaking ateliers preferred.
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and proven ability to handle high-value inventory with discretion.
- Familiarity with customs and transport documentation and regulatory requirements for domestic and international shipments.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and prioritise in a deadline-driven production environment.
- Good numeracy and data‑driven mindset; capacity to maintain and present operational KPIs.

Experience
Typically 2–4 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse or supply‑chain roles; prior exposure to luxury goods, jewelry, watchmaking or artisanal production environments is strongly preferred.
Education
Bac+2 in logistics, supply chain, transport or equivalent vocational qualification; or equivalent professional experience.
