Van Cleef & Arpels in Paris seeks a Logistics Administrative Manager to oversee shipping, documentation and inventory for high-value jewellery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative logistics operations for boutiques, ateliers and external partners, ensuring secure handling of high-value goods.
  • Coordinate shipments and transportation: prepare and validate shipping documents (AWB, CMR, commercial invoices), organise carriers and follow up on deliveries and returns.
  • Process purchase orders and delivery notes, update inventory records and reconcile stock movements with ERP and physical counts.
  • Liaise with customs brokers and ensure compliance with import/export regulations, Incoterms and company security procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation and filing, prepare reports and KPIs for the Supply Chain/Operations team.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (retail, workshops, client services) to prioritise shipments, resolve operational issues and optimise lead times.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to increase reliability, traceability and cost-efficiency of logistics flows.

Qualifications

  • Fluent French; professional working knowledge of English.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, business administration or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms and customs procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage administrative processes for high-value products with attention to security and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and capacity to prioritise under tight timelines.

Skills

ERP systems, preferably SAP Microsoft Excel (advanced) Shipping documentation: AWB, CMR, commercial invoices Incoterms and customs clearance procedures Inventory management and stock reconciliation Carrier coordination and shipment tracking KPI reporting and process improvement

Experience

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics or administrative coordination, ideally within luxury retail, jewellery, watchmaking or other sectors handling high-value merchandise.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related discipline.
