International Media Assistant (Intern)
Van Cleef & Arpels — Paris seeks an International Media Assistant intern to support global press relations, media monitoring and press kit production.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support international press relations: draft and tailor press releases, briefs and press notes for global markets.
- Prepare and distribute press kits and product information to targeted media and influencers.
- Maintain and update media contact lists and regional press databases; liaise with press agencies and regional PR teams.
- Monitor and compile daily/weekly media coverage (clippings) and produce performance reports for global campaigns.
- Coordinate logistics for press loans, sample shipments and press events, including follow‑ups with boutiques and ateliers.
- Assist with the organisation of international press trips, product previews and editorial appointments.
- Contribute to digital and social listening activities; flag editorial opportunities and sentiment trends to the PR team.
- Support ad‑hoc administrative tasks: expense tracking, meeting coordination and preparation of presentations for senior communications staff.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Luxury Management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to draft professional press materials.
- Strong organisational aptitude and attention to detail, with comfort managing multiple international stakeholders.
- Professional discretion and respect for brand confidentiality in handling high‑value samples and editorial relations.
- Proactive mindset with a demonstrable interest in luxury goods, jewellery and cultural storytelling.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and to adapt messages for different international markets.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship experience in communications, PR or editorial roles is preferred but not mandatory; exposure to the luxury or fashion sectors is a strong advantage. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with media workflows and basic reporting metrics.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
