Group Procurement Manager
Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Group Procurement Manager in Paris to lead sourcing of precious metals, gemstones and artisanal components.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a procurement group responsible for sourcing precious metals, gemstones, components and manufacturing services for high jewellery and watch collections.
- Define and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with creative, quality and cost targets; anticipate material needs and secure long-term supply continuity.
- Manage supplier selection, qualification and performance — including audits, capacity assessments and sustainability / responsible sourcing requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and framework agreements while ensuring compliance with legal, customs and corporate procurement policies.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Operations, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications and production timelines.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, budgets and forecasts; drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
- Mitigate supply-chain risks (market volatility, geopolitical constraints, ethical sourcing) and implement contingency plans.
- Coach and mentor procurement staff; promote cross-functional stakeholder engagement and procurement best practices within the maison.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing a procurement team within luxury goods, jewellery, watchmaking or a related high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Deep knowledge of sourcing for precious metals, gemstones, bespoke components and artisanal suppliers, including quality and traceability considerations.
- Strong negotiation and contract-management skills, with a track record of delivering commercial savings and securing reliable supply.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities with Product, Operations and Compliance functions.
- Fluent French and professional command of English; advanced communication skills for international supplier engagement and corporate reporting.

Experience
Typically 7+ years in procurement or sourcing roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity within luxury jewellery, watches or precision manufacturing; demonstrable experience handling strategic categories such as precious metals and gemstones.
Education
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent professional experience.
