Employment Law Intern
Van Cleef & Arpels — Paris seeks an Employment Law Intern to support the HR Legal team on labor law, contracts and compliance.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the HR Legal team with legal research and monitoring of French and EU employment legislation and case law.
- Draft and review employment contracts, amendments, termination letters and HR policies under supervision.
- Prepare memos, briefs and presentations for internal stakeholders and external counsel on social law topics.
- Assist in daily management of employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, leaves and social dialogue documentation.
- Contribute to compliance projects, internal audits and the implementation of best‑practice HR processes.
- Attend meetings with HR business partners and external counsel; summarize outcomes and follow up on action points.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an advanced law programme (Master 1/Master 2 or equivalent) with a specialization in employment/social law.
- Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in labor law, HR compliance or social dialogue.
- Excellent legal research and drafting skills with rigorous attention to detail.
- Discretion, professional maturity and the ability to handle confidential matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with legal databases is an advantage.

Experience
Previous internships or practical experience in employment law, HR legal teams, or law firms handling social law matters preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Law degree in progress (Master 1 or Master 2 level) with a focus on employment/social law or equivalent legal training.
