Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in day‑to‑day management of the Selfridges boutique and assume full responsibility in their absence.
- Drive sales performance and achieve boutique KPIs through proactive clienteling, bespoke servicing and appointment management.
- Coach, motivate and develop the sales team to deliver exemplary customer experiences and sustained commercial growth.
- Ensure immaculate visual merchandising, boutique presentation and adherence to brand standards and product protocols.
- Oversee stock control, inventory reconciliation, deliveries and loss‑prevention procedures with rigorous attention to detail.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales and operational reports to regional management and liaise closely with head office teams.
- Organise and support private client events, trunk shows and in‑store appointments to cultivate long‑term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within luxury retail, ideally in high jewellery, watches or premium fashion.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing boutique KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal and clienteling skills with the ability to cultivate and retain high‑net‑worth clients.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities, capable of developing team capability and managing performance.
- High standards of personal presentation and professional conduct appropriate to a haute joaillerie environment.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and peak trading periods.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of luxury retail experience, with at least one to two years in a supervisory or assistant manager role; direct experience in jewellery or premium watches is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education required; degree or diploma in business, retail management, luxury brand management or related discipline preferred but not mandatory.
