Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Sales Associate in Seoul to deliver personalised luxury client service within its boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver discreet, personalised service to high‑net‑worth and regular clients, building long‑term relationships and maintaining an active client portfolio.
  • Meet and exceed individual and boutique sales objectives through consultative selling, cross‑selling and upselling of jewellery and watch collections.
  • Manage appointments, VIP visits and private viewings; coordinate follow‑ups, bespoke requests and after‑sales service with internal teams.
  • Ensure boutique presentation meets Maison standards: visual merchandising, window displays, stock rotation and housekeeping.
  • Process transactions, returns and repairs accurately using the point‑of‑sale system; maintain precise sales and inventory records.
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge (gemology, materials, collections) and communicate features and heritage to clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably 1–3 years in luxury jewellery, watches or high‑end fashion.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion and a client‑centric approach to relationship management.
  • Professional presentation and fluency in Korean; professional-level English is an advantage.
  • Strong numeracy and experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.

Experience

Preferably 1–3 years of frontline retail experience in luxury jewellery, watches or premium fashion; demonstrable success meeting sales targets and managing high‑value client interactions.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in retail, luxury goods, fashion or related fields is an advantage.
