Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day boutique operations to achieve sales targets, optimize conversion and manage KPIs across merchandising, clienteling and stock control.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with high-net-worth and VIP clients through personalised clienteling, private appointments and bespoke service initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor and develop a small team of boutique advisors, setting performance objectives, conducting appraisals and building a culture of excellence and discretion.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and boutique presentation to ensure adherence to Maison guidelines and seasonal directives, coordinating with regional visual teams.
  • Manage inventory, stock reconciliation and loss-prevention procedures; liaise with regional supply chain and security on replenishment and audit matters.
  • Plan and execute local events, trunk shows and VIP activations, collaborating with marketing and CRM to maximise client engagement and lifetime value.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in luxury retail with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales and client retention targets.
  • Deep knowledge of haute joaillerie, watches or high-end accessories and the ability to communicate product craftsmanship and heritage with authority.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion and cultural sensitivity when interacting with affluent and international clientele.
  • Strong commercial acumen including experience with forecasting, budgeting and KPI management.
  • Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication; additional languages beneficial but not required.

Experience

Typically requires 5+ years in luxury retail, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a boutique environment; demonstrable experience building VIP business and running boutique events.

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or a related field; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail is acceptable.
