Van Cleef & Arpels — Paris: Boutique Concept Manager to lead boutique concept execution and elevate the client experience.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of boutique concepts, visual merchandising and customer‑experience standards to reflect the maison’s aesthetic and commercial objectives.
  • Drive flagship and boutique roll‑outs in close collaboration with creative, retail operations, marketing and visual merchandising teams.
  • Translate seasonal campaigns and product launches into in‑store activations, window displays and immersive client journeys.
  • Train and coach boutique teams (sales, visual and operations) on concept standards, installation procedures and service rituals to ensure consistent execution.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and third‑party vendors for shopfitting, installations and bespoke in‑store events.
  • Define and monitor performance indicators for concept effectiveness and provide regular reporting with recommendations for optimisation.
  • Act as brand guardian on the salesfloor — ensure compliance with visual, spatial and experiential guidelines while adapting solutions to boutique constraints.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep knowledge of luxury jewellery/watches or high‑end fashion retail and an understanding of artisan craftsmanship and client expectations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and to translate creative briefs into pragmatic retail executions.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience managing budgets, timelines and external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and influence boutique teams and stakeholders.

Experience

Several years of progressive experience in luxury retail or visual merchandising, including demonstrable experience leading boutique concept roll‑outs or flagship implementations; previous exposure to jewellery or watch retail is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing or equivalent professional experience.
