Assistant Boutique Manager
Van Cleef & Arpels seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Seoul to support boutique operations and cultivate VIP client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in delivering boutique KPIs and monthly sales targets; drive revenue growth through proactive clienteling and conversion.
- Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to sustain high standards of personalised service for VIP and private clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients, overseeing appointment management, bespoke requests and after-sales service.
- Oversee daily boutique operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling and reconciliation, point-of-sale (POS) oversight and visual merchandising standards.
- Manage stock processes: receiving, tagging, transfers, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation in partnership with regional operations.
- Implement and monitor CRM activities and client follow-up programmes to maximise client retention and lifetime value.
- Ensure boutique compliance with brand policies, security protocols, loss-prevention procedures and local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular sales and service reports for the Boutique Manager and regional leadership; contribute to forecasts and staffing plans.
- Coordinate in-store events and client experiences in collaboration with marketing and regional teams to enhance brand presence locally.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales with demonstrable results in a high-end jewellery, watch or fashion environment.
- Prior supervisory experience—ability to lead a small team and manage performance through coaching and feedback.
- Exceptional client service orientation with refined interpersonal skills and discretion in handling VIP clientele.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly relating to inventory control and store standards.
- Commercial acumen with experience using CRM and POS systems; competency in sales reporting and KPI tracking.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays; legal authorization to work in South Korea.
- Professional presentation and fluency in Korean; business-level English is highly desirable.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of experience in luxury retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant-manager capacity; prior exposure to high jewellery or comparable ultra-luxury categories is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, luxury management or equivalent professional experience preferred.
