Assistant Boutique Manager
Van Cleef & Arpels seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in New York to support boutique operations and deliver exceptional luxury client service.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in achieving sales targets, driving client acquisition and retention through personalised clienteling and follow-up.
- Supervise daily boutique operations including staff scheduling, training, visual merchandising and standards compliance.
- Deliver exemplary front-of-house client service: manage appointments, private viewings and VIP client relationships.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and loss-prevention procedures in accordance with house policies.
- Prepare and review sales and operational reports; implement corrective actions to optimise performance and service KPIs.
- Coordinate boutique events, trunk shows and local marketing activities with corporate and regional teams.
- Act as duty manager in the absence of the Boutique Manager, resolving client issues and making operational decisions.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in luxury retail, jewellery or watches (typically 3+ years preferred).
- Demonstrated sales leadership with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and developing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of luxury merchandising standards and visual presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a boutique team.
- High degree of discretion, professionalism and service orientation appropriate to a high‑jewellery house.

Experience
Preferably 3+ years in luxury retail with supervisory responsibilities; prior exposure to high jewellery, watches or premium accessories is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, hospitality, luxury management or related field preferred.
