Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of tools and equipment.
- Perform regular checks to ensure all items are accounted for and update inventory records as needed.
- Issue tools and equipment to employees, ensuring proper documentation of items loaned and returned.
- Verify the condition of tools upon return and report any damage or loss.
- Keep the tool crib clean and organized.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to employees needing tools and equipment.
- Assist with placing and tracking incoming orders and regularly providing status updates to necessary parties.
- Help implement a new system of consumable distribution to the production floor, including building the inventory database and troubleshooting orders.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills
Experience
Beginner level experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
