Role & Responsibilities

  • Assess product designs for technical feasibility and quality, considering alternative processes and tooling solutions.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships to enhance development processes.
  • Collaborate on the allocation of new products focusing on technical aspects.
  • Direct the creation of technical documentation and oversee industrialization processes.
  • Monitor product development, ensuring alignment with industrial strategy.
  • Work with operations managers to define estimates, set priorities, and allocate workloads.
  • Maintain and develop traditional techniques while integrating new methods.
  • Ensure the conception and reproducibility of all workshop pieces.
  • Monitor development activities and provide technical support to teams.
  • Collaborate on defining manufacturing processes and specifications.
  • Monitor production and report on progress.
  • Identify and assess technical risks related to supply and manufacturing.
  • Coordinate technical efforts with Setters, Polishers, CAD, and Quality Control teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to achieve quality standards and operational excellence.
  • Make technical decisions to ensure the highest quality standards for all pieces.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments, coordinating projects between design, CAD development, and jewelry production.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in a High Jewelry environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in team leadership and managing sensitive information.
  • Strong technical acumen with understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of High Jewelry traditions, standards, and industry codes.

Skills

Critical thinking and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. CAD knowledge is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in a High Jewelry environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
