Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Designer and Project Architect in developing store designs from concept through construction documents.
  • Create hand-sketches and utilize 2D and 3D computer-based tools to communicate design options.
  • Research project-specific materials and products.
  • Coordinate with the 3D visualization team to create conceptual 3D renderings.
  • Build physical 3D models to explore design proposals.
  • Assemble design presentation layouts and presentation boards.
  • Provide coordinated drawings and presentations on a project and task basis.
  • Maintain organized records of all project communication on the shared project server.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to achieve store designs that fulfill creative direction and business needs.
  • Attend team design reviews and follow up with consultants on design progress.

Qualifications

  • Actively matriculating in an Architecture or Interior Design program.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated design and detailing skills.
  • Familiarity with design phases and architectural drawing sets.
  • High degree of interest in luxury retail and familiarity with basic principles of retail design.

Skills

Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, InDesign, and Photoshop. Excellent communication skills. High level of organization, planning, foresight, creativity, and judgment. Attention to detail. Self-motivated, punctual, and professional.

Experience

Beginner level experience in a professional setting, ideally within the luxury retail sector.

Education

Currently enrolled in an Architecture or Interior Design program.
