Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed monthly review and reconciliation of intercompany accounts receivable and payable balances.
  • Communicate with international markets to resolve discrepancies and aged items.
  • Process and record intercompany cash movements and settlements related to merchandise transactions.
  • Reconcile intercompany sales between the general ledger and intercompany data warehouse.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for intercompany miscellaneous transactions and inquiries.
  • Prepare and issue intercompany miscellaneous billings to international markets.
  • Execute and record necessary intercompany reclassification entries.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and external audits.
  • Review Profit & Loss variations for US and Canadian entities.
  • Participate in business process improvement efforts, including automation solutions.
  • Assist management with special assignments and support IT initiatives impacting intercompany activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, focusing on intercompany accounting or general ledger management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience
