Tiffany & Co. seeks a Senior Product Development Specialist — Watches in Geneva, Switzerland to lead horological product development from brief to first series.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product development for high‑end watches from marketing brief through prototyping to delivery of first production series, ensuring adherence to quality, cost and timing targets.
  • Define and manage project schedules, resource plans and budgets; identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate and align multidisciplinary internal teams (Design, Operations, Marketing) and external partners/suppliers to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery.
  • Drive technical and aesthetic solutions during design and prototyping phases, contributing horological expertise for movements and complications.
  • Oversee industrialization activities to guarantee manufacturability and production readiness while maintaining technical excellence.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement by monitoring industry trends, materials and technologies and proposing enhancements to processes and products.
  • Produce regular status reports and present project updates to senior stakeholders and management; escalate issues as required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in industrial management, mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience managing development projects within the luxury watchmaking sector, ideally including movement or complication development.
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical watch manufacturing processes, components and production techniques.
  • Proven leadership and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and drive multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the capacity to summarise complex technical information clearly.
  • Fluent in French and English (oral and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and MS Project.

Experience

At least 8 years leading product development projects in the luxury watch industry, with direct experience on movement development or complications highly preferred.
