Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and create high jewelry pieces, including Blue Book collections, ensuring alignment with Tiffany & Co.'s aesthetic and heritage.
  • Produce superior gouache renderings for unique and custom jewelry pieces.
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Design team to ensure 3D models meet design intent.
  • Partner with Product Development and suppliers to maintain the integrity of the Chief Artistic Officer's vision.
  • Conduct historical research and provide creative inspirations to senior leadership.
  • Manage the design process from concept development to final handoff, adhering to corporate timelines.
  • Evaluate and communicate feedback on design concepts to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate usage of design systems and maintain project documentation.
  • Foster communication among design teams to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Archive and organize electronic design documents.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Jewelry, Metals, Industrial Design, or Fine Arts, or 8+ years of industry experience in jewelry design.
  • Strong passion for jewelry and creativity with a keen aesthetic sensitivity.
  • Superior freehand drawing skills and proficiency in gouache rendering.
  • In-depth knowledge of gemology and jewelry manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and oversee development processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changes in design direction and project timeframes.
  • Knowledge of competitive retail market trends and brand identity.
  • Strong work ethic with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Openness to feedback and ability to implement design revisions.

Experience
