Tiffany & Co. seeks a Senior Channel Planning Manager — Watches in New York to lead global inventory, assortment and forecasting for watch collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute global channel inventory strategies for all Tiffany watch categories to ensure optimal availability while minimising excess and obsolescence.
  • Lead forecasting and receipt planning for watch inventory, incorporating lead times, production capacity and market trends to align supply with demand.
  • Manage allocation and replenishment to boutiques and distribution centres, reducing out‑of‑stock occurrences and maximising sell‑through.
  • Own assortment planning for watch collections across the product lifecycle, delivering collection‑ and store‑level recommendations that reflect brand standards and local market needs.
  • Analyse inventory performance (sell‑through, turns, weeks of supply) and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and SKU performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Geneva Product, Supply Chain, Finance and regional merchandising teams to align inventory, launches and financial targets.
  • Lead cross‑functional governance for new watch launches, boutique openings and promotional activity to ensure inventory readiness and commercial impact.
  • Coach and develop a team of analysts: prioritise projects, ensure analytical accuracy, deliver performance reviews and drive capability building.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in inventory planning, merchandise planning, demand/channel planning or related roles; watch or luxury timepiece experience strongly preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree from a recognised college or university.
  • Demonstrable expertise in forecasting, assortment optimisation and inventory management principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong competency in PowerPoint for executive reporting.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Proven people leadership experience including coaching, performance management and cross‑functional stakeholder influence.
  • Excellent communication, project management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience
