Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the security team to meet the objectives of the Global Protection Department.
  • Ensure adherence to Global Protection Standards and motivate the team to focus on key security drivers.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Security Management to identify and implement shrink reduction strategies.
  • Optimize security schedules for peak hours and events in partnership with Security Management.
  • Support Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management efforts, serving as the point person during emergencies.
  • Ensure the functionality and maintenance of physical security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and locks.
  • Conduct vulnerability evaluations and other tasks as directed by Security Management.
  • Enhance client relationships to drive loyalty and increase overall spend.
  • Manage the security team to deliver a luxury security experience with a customer-centric approach.
  • Collaborate with store management to lead initiatives that enhance the client experience.
  • Coach staff to provide a consistent and gracious greeting to clients.
  • Maintain a professional and calm demeanor in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Valid Security License
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Highest level of integrity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Authorization to work in Canada

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in a security-related position, preferably within a retail environment, with an emphasis on customer service.
