Jewelry CAD Designer
Tiffany & Co. in New York seeks a Jewelry CAD Designer to develop 3D models and prototypes for high‑end jewelry. Salary: $85,000–$105,000.

Role & Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts into production‑ready 3D CAD models and soft prototypes for new product development, line extensions and reverse engineering of existing pieces.
- Create, maintain and organise 2D/3D standards, templates, technical drawings and presentation renderings to ensure design and manufacturing integrity across product families.
- Collaborate with Design Creative, Model Makers, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to define component breakouts, construction methods and critical requirements.
- Manage personal timelines, update workflow tracking and communicate project status, risks and technical constraints to cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Provide CAD leadership: research and operationalise new tools and workflows, troubleshoot technology implementations with IT, and disseminate best practices across JDIW and Design teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial Design, Fashion Design or Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in jewelry CAD and model making with demonstrable portfolio of finished‑goods models and prototypes.
- Deep manufacturing knowledge of jewelry processes and materials, with experience applying design intent through production constraints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and meet accelerated timelines under high demand.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and experience applying formal creative training to collection development.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in jewelry CAD/design and model making; proven experience collaborating with manufacturing and design teams in a luxury or technical product environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial Design, Fashion Design or Engineering.
