Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate complex design concepts into physical prototypes, mock-ups, and models, adhering to project timelines.
  • Provide innovative solutions to mechanical challenges during the development process.
  • Ensure all models meet Tiffany's quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Monitor project timelines and communicate potential risks to management.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and JDIW teams to ensure product functionality and manufacturability.
  • Mentor and guide JDIW team members, sharing expertise in goldsmithing and setting procedures.
  • Utilize technology and enterprise software for project management and communication.

Qualifications

  • Significant model-making training with 5-10 years of bench experience.
  • Master craft level proficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and related industries.
  • Extensive experience with jewelry materials, precious metals, and gemstones.
  • Proven ability to maintain design integrity while troubleshooting manufacturing processes.

Skills

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in jewelry or related industries.

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial or Fashion Design, or Engineering preferred.
