Role & Responsibilities
- Translate complex design concepts into physical prototypes, mock-ups, and models, adhering to project timelines.
- Provide innovative solutions to mechanical challenges during the development process.
- Ensure all models meet Tiffany's quality and manufacturing standards.
- Monitor project timelines and communicate potential risks to management.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and JDIW teams to ensure product functionality and manufacturability.
- Mentor and guide JDIW team members, sharing expertise in goldsmithing and setting procedures.
- Utilize technology and enterprise software for project management and communication.
Qualifications
- Significant model-making training with 5-10 years of bench experience.
- Master craft level proficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and related industries.
- Extensive experience with jewelry materials, precious metals, and gemstones.
- Proven ability to maintain design integrity while troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in jewelry or related industries.
Education
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial or Fashion Design, or Engineering preferred.
